TESTIMONIAL:  Natural Induction

I went to visit Anna because I was looking for a natural method to help progress my labor. I was already at 40 weeks pregnant and did not want to continue my pregnancy because I wanted to have a natural birth, and was afraid that if I continued my pregnancy, my baby would get too large.

Because it's been years since I had a acupuncture session, I was nervous. However the environment was very pleasant and relaxing. There were at least 2-3 other pregnant women in the room with me, so I knew I came to the right place. After the needles were placed, Anna went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed.

The session was longer than I expected, so I was very satisfied. I felt the baby move a lot during my session, and I was confident that this was going to help me progress my labor and allow for an easier child birth.

Exactly 43 hours later, I woke up on Saturday morning with a sign that I needed to go to the hospital. When I arrived at the hospital, the doctor said that I was already 6 cm dilated, even though I have not felt any contractions, and that I was going to be having my baby that day.

I truly believe that the session that I had with Anna helped me progress in my labor and allowed for a natural child birth. After the baby was born, I received a card in the mail from Anna welcoming my baby to this world, and I thought that was very sweet of her.
